Renovation national heritage watermill

Renovation and restoration of a national heritage watermill in the south of the Netherlands. After an earlier restauration in 1978 by architect Mans Hofhuis it was time in 2005 to anew the old renovation of the main building and to renovate the outbuildings. The biggest “outbuilding”, a huge shed from the 19e century, got a new roof structure, new stable doors with the original details made new, with the existing hinges and locks. The shed, build for cows, is now in use for horses.
