The competition required that the fountain on the courtyard should be somehow addressed
to celebrate the opening of an exhibition in the [building.
The battens, with their tops painted blue (1/10 of the total length), emphasize the existing street paving and help the visitors feel comfortable standing in the middle of the square for opening drinks. Folding chairs identify the path.
